Enter the "Perfect Pitch" Marketing Plan Challenge

Attention Jazz Congress registrants: You can win $1,000 by participating in Perfect Pitch: the $1,000 Marketing Challenge at Jazz Congress 2019!

Independent artists (those not signed to a record label) who are registered for Jazz Congress are invited to design and present a marketing plan for an upcoming album or tour with a theoretical budget of $1,000. (We'll provide a template plan to work from.)

Presentations will take place Tuesday, January 8th at 1:15PM in Varis Leichtman Studios, in front of a panel of judges and an audience of Jazz Congress attendees.

Presentations will be no longer than 6 minutes and must utilize at least 4 slides from this template plan.

The judges will award a cash prize of $1,000 to the winning presenter.

Email jazzcongress@jazz.org with subject line: Perfect Pitch Marketing Submission by December 12th. Include your name, address, cell phone, and the album or tour your marketing plan will support.

Seven people will be selected to present.

Marketing Plans must be submitted by December 21st at 12:00PM EST. Failure to submit on time will result in forfeiture of opportunity to present.
